제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Cross-linked PVA-Gelatin Hydrogel using Genipin Cross-linker for spongy bone applications
초록 In this study, PVA-gelatin hydrogels were synthesized by 12 wt% polyvinyl alcohol solution and 30 wt% gelatin solution. 0.05 wt % genipin in PBS solution was employed as cross-linker agent. Degrees of cross-linking of hydrogels were determined by FT-IR spectrum. The highest compressive strength was 4.5 MPa with ratio of solutions PVA: gelatin: geinpin (1:1:1). MTT western blot analysis showed that crosslinked hydrogel was non-toxic and highly biocompatible. In vitro degradable of hydrogel showed that hydrogel could stable over one month. Hydrogels showed good MG-63 cell attachment through SEM morphology and confocal image. Thus, PVA-Gel hydrogel had high potential for bone applications such as spongy bone.
