제목 Brown TiO2 Doped BiVO4 as A Facile (Photo)electrocatalyst for Two-Electron Reduction/Oxidation Reactions for H2O2 Production
초록 Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is a clean oxidant and can be electrochemically generated via 2-electron oxygen reduction (ORR) or water oxidation reaction (WOR). Metal and carbon-based materials are preferred to generate H2O2 via ORR and metal oxides for WOR. The EPR showed brown TiO2 has abundant oxygen vacancies and was further hybridized with BiVO4. The hybridization reduces band-gap energy and widens the light absorption of BiVO4. The correlation between structural composition and other physicochemical properties with (photo)electrochemical performances were studied. Preliminary results suggest the activities and selectivity of the hybrid towards two-electron ORR/WOR were dependent on the  brown TiO2 on BiVO4. This work provided a facile pathway of fabricating an alternative (photo)electrocatalyst for H2O2 generation.
