Dispersion and crystallization of PP/organoclay nanocomposites prepared by supercritical and subcritical fluid foaming. |
초록 |
Mechanical properties of PP/clay nanocomposites depend on dispersion of clay in PP matrix. It is hard to disperse hydrophilic clay in hydrophobic PP, so many researches focus on intercalation and exfoliation of clay. Supercritical and subcritical process are well known and easy process in polymer industries. In this research, we achieve good dispersion of intercalated/exfoliated clay in PP matrix by using supercritical fluid foaming process. We also investigate structure and crystallization of PP/clay nanocomposite foams. |
