제목 Synthesis and water-repelling properties of hybrid fluorinated acrylates
초록 The use of long perfluoroalkyl compounds such as perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) was restricted owing to their non-biodegradable and toxic effects in the environment. We designed a hybrid compound having a short chained perfluoroalkyl group and an alkyl group as a substitute of PFOA. In this study, several hybrid acrylates were prepared by condensation reaction with fluorinated alcohol and alkyl glycidyl ether followed by adding acrylic acid. The structures of designed products were identified by 1HNMR and FT-IR. The water contact angles of the glass coated with those synthesized compounds by plasma were measured about 120°.
