Influence of Curing Conditions on Mechanical Properties of Carbon fibers-reinforced Phenolic Resin Composites |
초록 |
Carbon fibers-reinforced phenolic resin composites have been developed for use in lightweight and high temperature structural applications, similar to those used in the aerospace industry. Which are based on the carbon fibers impregnated reactive phenolic resins in the liquid state. However, the prepreg laminates and the decrease void of carbon fibers-reinforced phenolic resin composites are difficult since they produce volatiles by chemical reaction and form residual solvent during curing reaction. This study focuses on void development in carbon fibers-reinforced phenolic resin composites. And the influence of prepreg drying times and solvent content on mechanical properties of the composites was studied by three-point short-beam test and tensile strength. |
