제목 Nanostructured electrodes for quantum dot-sensitized solar cells
초록  Quantum dots (QDs) based on the materials such as CdS and CdSe have been employed as photo-sensitizers for the solar cells because (1) their optical band gaps can be adjusted easily through quantum confinement effects by varying their size and (2) they have much higher extinction coefficients than conventional dyes due to the existence of multiple levels. However, despite these advantages, the overall energy conversion efficiencies of the QD-sensitized solar cells (QD-SSCs) still have been low due to relatively few studies.
 In this presentation, some results regarding the nanostructured electrodes of the QD-SSCs that have been done in our lab. will be addressed. The SILAR (sucessive ionic layer adsorption and reaction) process for the QDs’ assembly, TiO2 nanotube arrays for the QD-SSCs, etc. will be presented.
