Adhesive materials which bind two separate surfaces were widely used in the industry. The acrylate or silicon-based polymer was generally utilized as a polymer adhesive, but surface using conventional adhesives is difficult to separate, making the separation and reuse of the surfaces inconvenient. To overcome this problem, the adhesive material with reversible bonding and de-bonding features was getting attention as a future material. Herein, we firstly demonstrate repeatable bonding and de-bonding properties of ladder-like poly(silsesquioxane)s by using a dynamic chemical bond. These novel materials could convert its surface adhesive properties under simple stimuli, could be expected as a future adhesive material in the advanced application. |
