제목 Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance Study to Detect Polystyrene Microplastics with specific binding peptide
초록 Recently, a huge concern has been imposed on hazardous aspects of microplastics in terms of environmental issues. In this study, gold (Au) nanoparticles (NPs) based localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) system was developed to detect the microplastics in a simple sampling and measuring format. The detection mechanism was based on LSPR phenomena by a specific and exclusive binding of microplastic specific peptides toward polystyrene(PS), polyethylene(PE) and polypropylene(PP) nanoplastic fragments. Its possibility and limitation will be discussed.
