Vertically Aligned Mesoporous Silica-based Film from Preceramic Polymer |

Making the inorganic mesoporous film is challenge in the development of vertically aligned nanoporous materials over large area on substrate that are thermally and chemically stable. More challenging is to apply the unique functionalization on the selected surface of such a structure, including the pore inner walls. Herein, we take a single-precursor approach to prepare vertically aligned silica-based film by simple solvent annealing method on Si wafer (2 x 3 cm2) that is thermally stable up to 250 oC in air and 700 oC in nitrogen atmosphere. |
