Metal halide perovskite has emerged as an alternative high-color-puritylight emitter for next-generation displays including augmented/virtual realitydisplays. Although perovskite emitters have much narrower emission spectra thanthose of inorganic quantum dots, low device stability of perovskitelight-emitting diodes has been a main obstacle for further success. In order toovercome the stability issue, low-dimensional Ruddlesden-Popper phaseperovskites, so-called quasi-2D perovskites, have been actively studied for thepast few years. In this talk, I will review the emergence and recent progressof Quasi-2D perovskite light-emitting diodes to discuss future researchdirections. |
