Size effect of Iron Oxide Nanoparticles as X Band Radar Absorbing Material |
초록 |
Iron oxide application as Radar Absorbing Material (RAM) is investigated with respect to its size. Iron Oxide particles of various sizes are made into paint using oil-based epoxy resin as binder and made into paint films (1 ~ 2mm). The particle size range from μm to nm, with plain epoxy paint is used as the base reference. Magnetic property is measured using Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) while radar absorbing properties is measured using Vector Network Analyzer and rectangular waveguide. X Band (8 12 GHz) is the designated frequency range used for investigating the intrinsic di-electric properties. |
