Dissolving pulp is used as a raw material for manufacturing various cellulose-derived products. For the last ten years, the demand for dissolving pulp in the market has been concerned with rayon, and it is predicted to be increased throughout the year. Dissolving pulp is a type of chemical pulp that containing more than 90% of cellulose, it is high whiteness, highly uniform cellulose polymerization degree, has unique properties and uses. In this study, the mulberry bast fiber was used as raw material for dissolving grade pulp, and several prehydrolysis conditions were applied before pulping. |
