제목 Color-Tunable Fluorescent Polymer Nanoparticles by the Post-Modification of Reactive Polymers Prepared by ATRP
초록 Highly fluorescent nanoparticles have recently attracted strong interest in a wide range of applications ranging from understanding complicated and dynamic communications between cells to the imaging of living cells. Among different types of fluorescent materials, polymer nanoparticles are considered to be promising candidates which would overcome the drawbacks of organic dyes or quantum dots, such as toxicity or limitation of loading amount. Herein, we report the preparation of fluorescent polymer nanoparticles by the simple post-modification of reactive polymers prepared by ATRP. The conditions for the ATRP of pentafluoropheyl methacrylate (PFPMA) were optimized through the kinetic studies. The resulting reactive polymers were further post-modified with different fluorophores containing primary amine groups to tune the emission color.
