초록 | In the conventional rechargeable lithium batteries, a nonaqueous solvent is used as an electrolyte. It is because lithium deposited upon charging is readily reactive with moisture. The solid polymer electrolytes for rechargeable lithium battery are still being developed and continue to provide effective solutions to many different problems. Recently, much work is devoted to the development of electrolytes based PEO(polyethylene oxide) that shows good electrochemical and mechanical properties. In this study, we propose a new thermodynamic model based on the perturbed hard sphere chain (PHSC) model and the melting point depression theory to predict the phase behaviors of PEO/salt systems. PHSC model uses the modified Chiew equation of state and van der Waals perturbation whose parameters are related to the intermolecular potential. Theoretical coexistence curves are compared with experimental data for various PEO/salts systems. |
