We present photovoltaic properties of hybrid solar cells (HSCs) with nonvolatile redox mediators based on a Co complex, ionic liquid and additives. Solar devices with the Co complex and additives as a nonvolatile redox mediator showed a short-circuit current (Jsc) of nearly 0 mA/cm2 and thus a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 0 %. In addition, a PCE of 0.31 % was recorded in a device with the ionic liquid and additives. On the contrary, when a Co complex/ionic liquid-mixed redox mediator was applied together with additives to HSCs, PCE was significantly improved up to 9.63%, with a Jsc of 21.73 mA/cm2, open-circuit voltage of 0.676 V and fill factor of 65.55%. |
