제목 The preparation of nanocrystalline cellulose and its applications in pulp and papermaking
초록 Development and utilization of renewable resources fully become inevitable trend,under the current situation of the exhausting non—renewable resources such as coal,oil and natural gas.
Natural cellulose is the most abundant biomass resources in nature, and is the most popular biological macromolecular, which exists in various organisms such as bacteria and some plants animals,etc.
Nanocrystalline cellulose (NCC) obtained from acid hydrolysis of cellulose fibers, has been realised as a new class of nano-materials which possesses many advantages, such as nanoscale dimension, high specific strength and modulus, high surface area, unique optical properties, etc.
In this study,the method of preparation of NCC is explored.Due to its features of nanoparticle and unique strength and optical properties, use nanocrystalline cellulose in pulp and papermaking as paper strengthening agent and retention aid and drainage aid is explored.
