제목 Solution Processed Highly Transparent, Hydrophobic ZnO nanorods for Inverted Organic Solar cells
초록 We demonstrate application of highly transparent and hydrophobic ZnO nanorods, as an effective electron transporting layer (ETL) for inverted polymer solar cells (IPSCs). These ZnO nanorods were fabricated hydrothermally followed by capping with 2-2-methoxy-ethoxy-acetic acid (MEA). The obtained n-type ETL exhibits a water contact angle of 50±2 o and a transparency of more than 95% in the visible region. Furthermore, this transparent ETL shows a promising PCE of 3.15% for the IPSCs. The defining characteristic of our strategy is that the hydrothermally synthesized and further capped hydrophobic and highly dense ZnO nanorods are spun over conducting indium-doped tin oxide (ITO) substrate to effect into highly transparent and thin layer.
