제목 Selectively Opened P4VP Core of PS-P4VP Micellar Films: Template for the Fabrication of 2-D Arrays of Metal-sulfide Nanoparticle
초록 Two-dimensional (2-D) arrays of metal-sulfide nanoparticles on solid substrates were obtained with tunable size and interspacing by selective core opening of block copolymer micellar template. Immersing the polystyrene-block-poly(4-vinylpyridine) copolymer (PS-P4VP) micellar thin films in methanol solution containing metal-ions leads to selective opening of the P4VP core as well as metal ion coordination in the opened core. The coordinated metal ions in the opened core were converted to metal-sulfide nanoparticles by dipping the micellar thin film in Na2S/methanol solutions at room temperature. The obtained 2-D arrays of pure metal-sulfide nanoparticles after removing the block copolymer template replicated the parent micellar template nanostructures. The approach presented here allows an easy integration of metal-sulfide nanoparticles on solid substrates, which could be applied for the fabrication of advanced functional materials such as photonics.
