Characterizing Wood and Fiber Properties by Phenotyping Platform |
| 초록 |
The phenotyping platform should function as an integral component within the overall research program. It is envisioned that this unit be used to support many of the associated functional genomic activities, as well as lead several of its own initiatives revolving around the biology of wood formation and the quality of the resource sector. As such, it is proposed that the platform consist of a resource that serves the entire research program with complementary routine analytical analyses, and a collective unit that questions and answers wood and cell wall development by combing extensive phenotyping with transcriptome analysis, reverse genetics and metabolic profiling. |
