제목 Transparent superhydrophobic silica coating for solar panels using facile brush coating
초록 The superhydrophobic property has been applied in diverse industries such as solar cell panels and automobile windows. There are many coating methods to obtain a high contact angle of 150° and a low sliding angle of 10° such as dip-coating, spin-coating, and brush-coating. Among them, the brush-coating method is very facile to coat on an anchored substrate like a solar panel for construct high roughness and transparency.  
In this study, hydrophobic modified silica nanoparticle coating solution was prepared by changing solvent permittivity. Superhydrophobic silica particles were deposited on the PET and glass via practical brush coating at different coating temperatures from 25 ℃ to 70 ℃. Finally, superhydrophobic transparent silica coating films were fabricated at the optimum condition.
