Recently, graphene is the subject of attention in a field of study. As you know, graphene is made from graphite by top-down approach. This way, solvent-exfoliation is good, because there is no defect and easy. But we use top-down approach from carbon fiber. Contrary to graphite fiber containing at least 99 wt.-% carbons, carbon fiber contains at least 92 wt.-% carbons. Carbon fiber has much properties such as nontoxic, good thermal and electrical conductivities, excellent tensile properties, rigidity and fire resistance. Carbon fiber’s applications are aerospace, cellular phone’s case, sport goods, medical and etc. We will estimate the property of the result of an experiment. |
