제목 Preparation of regenerated cellulose microspheres for efficient removal of methylene blue
초록 In recent years, cellulose microspheres have drawn increased attention of researchers in the field of water purification because of their small sizes, abundant hydroxyl groups, favorable specific surface area, and porosity.

Herein, porous regenerated cellulose microspheres (RCMs) aerogels were synthesized from a transparent and stable pulp cellulose–TEAOH/urea aqueous solution by sequential processes including emulsification and acid coagulation, as well as oven drying. The effect of surfactant dosages (Span 80) on the physical and chemical properties of RCMs was studied by SEM. FTIR, TGA, XRD, etc. Finally, MB adsorption performance and regeneration behavior of the RCMs are evaluated systematically to discuss its potential for efficient removal of organic dyes.
