Nylon composites were used as parts of under-hood and made by nylon reinforced short glass fiber(GF) or mineral filler and exposed to engine oil and high temperature to 150℃(maximum peak temperature). also they were very important to understand these thermo-oxidative reactions and their effects on the life of nylon composite under high engine-room environments. In this study, to estimate shape(β) and scale parameters(θ) of Weibull distribution, accelerated heat tests were conducted at 150, 170 and 180 ℃ for measuring mechanical properties such as tensile and impact strength. As result of statistics analysis by using Weibull distribution, shape parameters(β) for tensile and impact strengths showed 6.10 and 1.70 and scale parameters(θ) were 2642, 733 and 387 for tensile strength and 1778.20, 1684.60 and 1123.00 for impact strength respectively. |
