제목 Flexible ultraviolet photodetector based on ZnAl-layered double hydroxide nanostructures
초록  The importance light and efficient portable device have received a great deal of attention for realizing Internet of Things technologies. In this reason, functionalization of the material is important for a wide range of applications of nanomaterials. Among nanocomposite materials, layered double hydroxides (LDHs) have been received attention in various researches. LDHs are one of the 2D nanostructure that one sheet of LDHs layer has a plate-like shape of an octahedral lattice with metal divalent ions and trivalent ion at the center and hydroxyl group attached thereto. Thus plate-shaped hydroxide with positive charge and negative ions are electrostatically neutralized, they form a sandwich-shaped double layered structure, so called “artificial clay structure”. LDHs have attractive electrochemical properties, such as tunability of cations in the host layer, and exchangeability of anions without altering the host structure. And LDHs have high specific surface area due to the vertically arranged 2D plates, so LDHs can react sensitively to external stimulus. Considering these great electrical and structural characteristics, LDHs suit at various sensor device, such as photodetector, gas sensor, humidity sensor, and so on.  Among the various LDHs, ZnAl-LDHs can be suitable for ultraviolet photodetector which offer highly resistive semiconducting properties with a band gap of 3.2 eV and work function of 3.64 eV. However, there are insufficient researches of ZnAl-LDHs film grown on flexible substrate.  In this study, we made a flexible and stretchable device by infiltrating LDH film into the polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), which has relatively high young’s modulus. The nanocomposite structure of LDHs was investigated through scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD).
