제목 Fabrication of g-C3N4-Au-Metal Oxide Nanocomposites for High Performance Visible Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution Reaction
초록 Photocatalytic hydrogen evolution from water provides a direct method to capture and store sunlight as chemical energy, which can then be released in an environmentally friendly energy cycle. Among widely investigated photocatalysts, g-C3N4 (CN) has attracted great attention because of its suitable band gap (2.7 eV) and favorable chemical stability. However, poor visible-light absorption (<470 nm) and high photogenerated charge recombination limit its practical applications. Therefore, it is much meaningful to develop feasible strategies to enhance the visible-light absorption and charge separation for improving photocatalytic activity of CN. In our work, we have studied the surface plasmon resonance effect of Au nanoparticles with the coupled metal oxide and which has a great potential to promote the photocatalytic activity of CN by extending the visible light absorption and improving the charge separation.
