제목 Reproduce Color of The Jewelry Using Metal Nanoparticles
초록  Nacre, mollusk shells display a unique optical phenomenon due to their periodically layered structure that exhibits specific colors depending on the viewing angle. This characteristic results from both the structure of aragonite CaCO3, as well as from the shell's organic matrix. Other research on this characteristic phenomenon is currently underway.


 In this study, silver nanoparticles with unique optical properties, such as SPR(Surface Plasmon Resonance), were injected into the places where organic layers were removed. We observed changes in the layering structure at various temperature and pressure environments and measured light reflections, caused by the metal nanoparticles, at specific wavelength regions.

 We also analyzed the structure of natural materials in nanoscale, and used the surface plasmon resonance effect of metal nanoparticles to ultimately reproduce the same jewel-like colors as those of the natural shell colors.
