Molecular printing methods, which involved the direct transfer of molecules to a substrate with nanometer resolution, have been extensively developed over the past decade for many applications. Arrays of features on nano or micro scale have been used for reachers working in biosensors, material science, and general chemistry. In this work, Nano-porous polymer coated AFM probe was fabricated by ring opening polymerization of 2-methyl-2-oxazoline monomers on AFM probe surface. It can easily absorb large-molecular-weight biomolecules in their porous structures. Furthermore, we demonstrate that microarrays (or nanoarrays) of large biomolecules can be constructed on amine modified surface. The synthesized nano porous polymer coated AFM probe and molecules pattern were characterized with AFM, SEM, and fluorescent microscope. |
