제목 Fabrication of High Thermal Conductive Boron Nitride/Polyimide Composite Films Based on High Internal Phase Emulsion Method
초록 To achieve high thermal conductivity polymer composite film, it is important that a sufficient amount of filler is evenly dispersed in matrix. In general, it is difficult to evenly disperse large amounts of filler in the polymer matrix. In this study, we made various contents of boron nitride/polyimide (BN/PI) foam containing up to 80 wt% of BN based on high internal phase emulsion (HIPE) templates. Then, the BN/PI foam was hot pressed to produce a composite films. This composite films contained with 80 wt% BN nanoparticle shows a thermal diffusivity of 1.033 mm2/s and dielectric constant of 3.16 at 1 GHz frequency. Our BN/PI composite films have high thermal diffusivity and low dielectric constant compared to conventional mixing method BN/PI composite films. These results show the potential of our composite films as a packaging material for microelectronic devices.
