제목 Visible Light Sensitive Low-Cost and Effective Photocatalystic Material for Building Materials
초록 Here we report on a novel metal-free graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) nanoporous photocatalyst material for building material applications. The α-C3N4 nanoporous material was synthesized via a thermal polymerization in air. The structural features and photocatalystic properties of the graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) have been explored in detail. The photocatalytic activities were evaluated by photocatalytic oxidation of organic pollutants under visible light irradiation. UV–vis spectroscopic analysis showed that the band gap energy of the graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) nanoporous photocatalyst was ∼2.76 eV, which is suitable for photocatalystic activity under visible light. Our study shows that the graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) photocatalyst material has exceptional activity for the degradation of organic pollutants under visible light irradiation and suitable for building materials.
