제목 silica/graphene composite based closed-cellular network with tunable mechanical properties
초록 Actualizing of closed-cellular structure with low density and great mechanical properties has technical importance. However, it is challenge to broaden mechanical properties with low density, similar structure. Here, we report on reasonable approach for silica/graphene closed-cellular structure with wide mechanical properties window from elastic property to high strength. This composite retain from a light desnity sub 10mg/cm3 to over 100mg/cm3. This structure is prepared by assembling well-designed silica/graphene bubble as building units (BUs) made by microfluidic system. In the BUs designing process, silica and graphene have complementary role ; improving stability and framework for thin shell thickness. By adjusting the relative amount of silica and graphene, it is possible to make silica/graphene composite with tunable mechanical properties. Graphene dominant composite has superelastic property, on the other hand silica dominant composite has high strength.
