제목 The optical analysis of phosphorescence organic light-emitting diodes with different electrode types
초록 We present the optical simulation of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) with bottom and top metal electrodes, bottom emission OLEDs with ITO/metal electrodes, and transparent OLEDs with electrodes based on transparent conducting oxide. The simulation shows that the maximum external quantum efficiency of the top emission OLEDs can be the largest and that of the transparent OLEDs can be the lowest among the three devices. However, the transparent OLEDs can have advantages when a light extraction layer is integrated because the transparent electrodes can suppress the surface plasmonic losses.
