Vacuum processed perovskite solar cells (V-PSC) have advantages in terms of good coverage on rough surface. For the efficient charge transport betweenlayers, it is important to conformally deposit hole transporting layer (HTL) ona transparent electrode. In the V-PSC,the difference in surface energy between hydrophobic HTL and hydrophilic tin-dopedindium oxide (ITO) could be an obstacle for the formation of robust interface. In this study, we utilize a self-assembled monolayer (SAM) to improve the wettability of spiro-ttb. Theresults of SAM treatment are confirmed by water contact angle measurement and AFM. In contrast to V-PSC without SAM, the efficiency of theV-PSC with SAM showed similar powerconversion efficiencies (PCEs) with smaller deviations over a wide HTL thicknesses from 1 to 10 nm. In addition, the storage stability of the V-PSC with SAM was superior to that of the V-PSC without SAM, indicating the interfacial stability between the ITO and the spiro-ttb was enhanced. |
