Hierarchically structured polyaniline decorated reduced graphene oxide/SiO2 (PANI/RGO-a-SiO2) nanocomposite has been prepared using in situ polymerization. The XPS and XRD analysis demonstrate that the each synthetic step was successfully accomplished, and SEM and TEM clearly show that urchin-like structure PANI/RGO-a-SiO2 composite was successfully fabricated. Finally, when the produced composite was applied as electrode material for supercapacitors, it exhibited improved capacitive behavior and cycling stability compared with pristine PANI, which is attributed to the unique structure of the composite, as well as the synergetic effects between RGO and PANI. In conclusion, this study would provide facile synthetic strategy for preparing advanced energy materials. |
