제목 | Gas sensing characteristics of screen-printed SnO2/WO3 thick films as a VOCs gas sensor |
초록 | In this study, a highly sensitive WO3 based thick film VOCs sensor has been studied. The sensing characteristics such as sensitivity, response/recovery time were studied by using nanosized VOCs-based metal oxides(SnO2, TiO2, ZnO) doped with catalysts(Pt, Pd, Ru, In). The measured sensitivity to VOCs gas is defined as the ratio (Ra/Rg) of the resistance (Rair) of WO3 film in air to the resistance(Rgas) of WO3 film in a VOCs test gas . The sensitivities of the sensor were investigated by measuring toluene, styrene and xylene at the concentration range of 10-500ppm. It was found that the sensitivity and the selectivity of the films doped with 1wt% Pd and 5wt%SnO2 show the best performance. |
