Ultralight 3D Polypeptide/TA/Graphene Aerogel Containing AgNPs and the Antibacterial Property |
초록 |
Nano-sized silver (Ag) has been proven to be effective against bacterial infections even at low concentration. Three-dimensional (3D) graphene with the large accessible surface area and highly porous structures can be used as a supporting matrix which can promote immobilization and maximize the loading of AgNPs without the aggregation problem. Tannic acid (TA) is a specific form of tannin, a type of polyphenol, can reduce not only graphene oxide (GO) to graphene but also reduce Ag ions to AgNPs without the need for any reducing reagents. Here, we present a synthetic polypeptide, specifically polyaspartamide modified by ethylenediamine and ethanolamine, which was mixed with TA and GO to fabricate ultralight 3D graphene hybrid aerogel. This graphene aerogel containing TA-mediated AgNPs has great potential as a new antibacterial material for a wide range of industrial and clinical applications. |
