제목 Optical and physical properties of cyanostilbene derivatives and characterization in Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films
초록 Organic fluorophores having a property of aggregation-induced enhanced emission were synthesized and characterized. CN-HBE and CN-CBE don't show any enhancement of fluorescence with the addition of non-solvent, water. The molecules formed stable Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films. The absorbance and emission spectra of stilbene derivatives’ LB films exhibited H-aggregate phenomenon. Through the image of AFM, we could demonstrate aggregation capability of different conjugated organic compounds. By changing the temperature, molecular conformation changes in solution state and L-monolayer, which results in the hypsochromic shift. In the research of kinetics, the water addition of CN-TFMBE and CN-MBE solution induces appearance of red-shifted monomer band. The cyano group leads the appearance of the J-band in the spectra of water/THF mixture of CN-TFMBE and CN-MBE. CN-HBE and CN-CBE indicates strong aggregate formation at the same time from the addition of water without an isosbestic point.
