제목 Catalytic activity of methanol to olefin over SSZ-39 and SSZ-13
초록 SSZ-39 zeolite contains the AEI structure that has 3 dimensional channel system consisting of relatively large cavities with 8-membered ring pore openings (3.8 ⅹ3.8Å), similar to that of SSZ-13 zeolite. The catalytic performance of SSZ-39 for methanol to olefin (MTO) conversion was measured because the zeolite showed the same cavities dimension and acidity. SSZ-39 zeolite was synthesized using ultrastable Y zeolite as  Si and Al source and dimethyl-2,6-dimethylpiperidinium hydroxide solution as organic structure directing agent. The result of the MTO reaction over SSZ-39 suggested an excellent catalytic activity comparable to that of SSZ-13 zeolite while the deactivation appeared to be more severe because of acidity.
