제목 Enhanced catalytic oxidation of toluene over hierarchical Pt/Y Zeolite
초록 Volatile organiccompounds (VOCs) can cause a serious damage on the environments as well as ahuman health. Thus, it needs to be regulated and controlled. Various VOCselimination methods have been developed. Among these technologies, catalytic oxidation has been used widely sinceit is relatively lower energy consuming and environmentally friendly method. Inthis study, hierarchical Pt/Y zeolites with different mesoporosities weresynthesized by changing the conditions of surfactant-templated crystalrearrangement method. The effect of mesopore volume on the catalyticperformance of hierarchicalPt/Y zeolites towards toluene oxidation was investigated.

​Toconfirm pore structures, the prepared catalysts were characterized using Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET), and Transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The catalyticoxidation performance was measured at 1000 ppm of toluene inthe continuous flow system.​
