제목 Fabrication of Fe-Cr-Al Metallic Sponge for Diesel Particulate Filter
초록 A new fabricating process for Fe-Cr-Al metallic sponges was developed by combination of pulsed wire evaporation(PWE) of wire and electro-spraying(ESP). Fe-Cr-Al alloyed nano-powder prepared by PWE in ethanol were used as a starting material and commercial polyurethane(PU) sponge as a template, The Fe-Cr-Al sponge was successfully fabricated with porosity higher than 90%. Porosity of fabricated sponge can be controlled by spraying time of ESP process. As spraying time increased from 1 to 5h, porosity decreased from 97 to 90%. The metallic sponge possessed continuous pore-structure which was determined by structure of PU template. The technique might give a simple way to fabricate open-cell metallic and alloyed sponge for Diesel Particulate filter(DPF).
