A study on acetaldehyde adsorption behaviors of impregnated activated carbons |
초록 |
This study evaluated the effects of various impregnation on the acetaldehyde removal behaviors of modified activated carbon (MAC). The surface and pore characteristics of the MAC were examined using a scanning electron microscope and N2/77K adsorption isotherms, respectively. The generation of quinoline derivatives through the Doebner-Miller reaction between the impregnation agent and acetaldehyde was observed using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Acetaldehyde adsorption behaviors of the MAC were detected using a detecting tube technique. |
