Synthesis and Adsorption Properties of Aluminium-Based Nanoporous Materials |

As attention on the research for efficient usage of energy has widely been paid, many researchers have recently studied on the utilization of medium-low waste heat which has not been used effectively. Among various technology an adsorption chiller system is a promising candidate due to utilization of heat in range of 70~90oC. In order to commercialize the system, adsorbents in the system should adsorb and desorb water vapor between specific water vapor pressures. An aluminum-based nanoporous metal-organic framework(MOF) material known as CAU-10-H was prepared and characterized using X-ray diffraction, N2 adsorption-desorption isotherm, scanning electron microscope. The composites salt in porous matrix of CAU-10-H and CaCl2 showed enhanced water vapor adsorption capacity. |
