This study was investigated to test the combustion properties of wood specimen for the constructional interiors, especially focusing on fire performance index and fire growth index which are heat hazard properties. Heat release properties were measured by using a cone calorimeter (ISO 5660-1). Metal oxide used aluminium oxide and titanium dioxide. Metal oxide and silicone compound were mixed as 20 wt% vs. 80 wt%. After combustion, the measured fire performance indexes were increased from 71% to 171%, compared with uncoated wood. The fire risk due to fire performance index increased in the order of TiO2(R) |
