제목 Synthesis of Curcumin/Polyrhodanine Nanocapsules (CPR-NCs) with Microbial Disinfection Property by Oxidative Polymerization
초록 Curcumin became used in Indian traditional medicine and it is one of the three curcuminoids present in turmeric. In more recent times, it has been studied for its use as an anti-aging, anti-cancer, wound healing agent and antimicrobial property. Polyrhodanine has attracted considerable attention in various application fields such as anticorrosion, antibacterial, and antihistaminic agents. In this study, we synthesized curcumin/PRd nanoparticle with microbial disinfection property to release control by the encapsulation of natural antimicrobial agent and antimicrobial polymer. Also, we prepared core/shell type nanoparticle used to recycle oxidative polymerization by adding H2O2 as oxidant and disinfectant. The size and morphology of curcumin/PRd nanoparticle were analyzed by DLS and FE-SEM(average 200nm).
