It is necessary to develop new charge injection or transport materials for the cost effective and high efficient OLED device, which is called one of the future display devices and solid state lightings. P-i-n OLEDs, which promote the charge transfer at the interface by adopting the semiconductor doping technique, have been widely studied to achieve these goals. However, so far used most n-type dopants are made out of Ru, Cr, or other transition metals and have high oxidation potential, thus make themselves less stable and even flammable in the air. For this reason, it is very difficult to develop effective n-type organic materials. Recently, several attempts were reported to synthesize air stable n-type dopants. Here, we reports electrical properties of organic n-type dopant out of benzoimidazole. |
