제목 Extended Release Formulation of Losartan Potassium as Binding Agents of Various Types
초록 We demonstrated the dissolution behavior of losartan potassium (LP) from various binders of HPMC E5, HPMC K100MCR, Kollidon SR, Kollidon VA64, PVP K30 and PEO in this study. These mixtures were mixed by the physical mixing method and tablets were prepared using the direct compression method. The release behavior of prepared tablets was compared with LOSAL® (Korea United Pharm.) as a control group in the artificial intestinal fluid (pH 6.8). The characterization of LP and mixtures was confirmed by SEM, powder x-ray diffraction (PXRD), and FT-IR. SEM was used to observe the morphology of losartan and mixtures. The crystallinity of LP and mixtures was analyzed by PXRD. FT-IR was used to confirm the physicochemical characterization of LP and mixtures. The dissolution behavior of LP was analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). This research was supported by WCU (R31-20029).
