제목 Separation of FAME and glycerol in biodiesel production by using heterogeneous orgo-inorganic complexes
초록 Biodiesel is used commonly nowadays for environmental issues and demand of use is keep growing up so as the research for producing biodiesel. Homogeneous catalyst was used to separate FAME(Fatty Acid Methyl Ester) and glycerol from edible oil before but the advantage of heterogeneous catalyst like reusability, easy separation of glycerol and no water washing made heterogeneous catalyst more efficient. Heteropoly acid is soluble to water so it is used for heterogeneous catalyst but on the other hand it cannot be used alone as a catalyst. Because of this disadvantage we mixed heterocyclic compound as a base with heteropoly acid to make powder which does not dissolve in humid condition for a stable heterogeneous catalyst which means that the catalyst is reusable. So we were able to produce biodiesel continuously and lower the producing cost. After making the catalyst we analyzed the physical property and found the best conditions for production.
