Study on functionalized “active-surface” coverage in a bio-FET platform for real-time glucose detection |
초록 |
Emerging impacts of nanomaterials-based biomimetic enzymes in a portable biosensor device have become increasingly important for real-time glucose detection due to their higher reliability and longer lifetime as compared to conventional glucose oxidase enzymes. However, full “active-surface” coverage via effective surface functionalization remains quite challenging. To overcome this issue, a ZnO/PAC-based modified GCN functionalized Bio-FET platform at the nanoscale level is demonstrated for real-time monitoring of glucose. A high active-surface coverage was achieved leading to a prompt and sensitive response towards glucose. The detailed mechanism of sensing is studied with the electrolyte-gated FET platform via “light-effect”. Overall, these results extend the scope of developing a simple and efficient sensor for real-time glucose detection. |
