The photoinitiator is a major component that plays an essential role in photoresists for color filters. In particular, in order to further expand the application of an oxime ester initiator consisting of an N-OR bond, which is known as an efficient material, various efforts are required to design a new material to improve photolysis properties. In order to maximize the photolysis properties, a new oxime benzophenone-based photoinitiator compound containing both a benzophenone-based and an oxime-based compound that forms radicals by light was synthesized. In particular, the synthesis of the benzophenone-based compound was carried out in a total of four steps, such as a methylation reaction, an oxidation reaction, and a chlorination reaction. The chemical structure of the synthesized compound was analyzed by 1H-NMR and FT-IR, and light absorption characteristics were evaluated through UV-Vis absorption analysis. |
