SWCNTs which have unique electrical and mechanical properties are one of attractive candidates for substituting the conventional transparent electrode such as ITO. Although much effort has been made on the preparation of highly conductive and transparent thin films by the solution-based film deposition of SWCNTs, few reports have achieved high performance SWCNT thin films by the solution process. In this study, we prepared uniform, highly conductive and transparent SWCNT film by simple spin coating process with the use of oligothiophene-terminated poly(ethylene glycol) as a surfactant. To obtain high optical transparency and electrical conductivity, the as-spun films were washed and treated with HNO3 and SOCl2 consecutively. After successful removal of surfactants, the sheet resistance of SWCNT films was less than 60 ohm/sq at 71% transmittance at 550 nm. This high performance SWCNT film can be applied to fabrication of flexible electronics as a transparent electrode. |
