제목 Physical Properties and Fibrillation Tendency of Cotton Linter Pulp Based Regenerated Cellulose Fiber with Skin-Core Microstructure
초록 Lyocell process provides an eco-friendly, less toxic, relatively simple method for producing regenerated cellulose fiber. Existing Lyocell, however, shows some disadvantages such as forest destruction and easy fibrillation tendency in wet state. It is known that the fiber having skin-core structure, such that the core is formed by molecules highly aligned to the fiber axis while the skin shows a lower orientation, reduces a fibrillation. So in this study, to control the fibrillation of Lyocell we prepared the cotton linter pulp based regenerated cellulose fiber with skin-core microstructure by a two-step coagulation process in a layered hexanol-water system, investigated the microstructure, mechanical properties, and fibrillation tendency of as-spun fibers, and compared them with normal cotton linter based regenerated cellulose fiber.
